ABC Languages is situated in an attractive 18th Century former posthouse in the centre of Cambridge. It is conveniently situated for all amenities, being only five minutes from the railway station (London 45 minutes) and ten minutes from the bus station. It is on the main bus routes and is within easy walking distance of the historic city centre and places of special interest such as Kings College Chapel and the Fitzwilliam Museum, as well as the market and shops.
Getting to Cambridge
Cambridge is 1 hour 30 minutes by road or 45 minutes by train from central London. There are a variety of routes to and from all the main London airports.
London Stansted
The most convenient for Cambridge at only 30 minutes away from Cambridge by bus, taxi or train. There is a train station in the airport with direct trains to Cambridge and London. Coaches leave from outside the main arrivals hall.
London Heathrow
Approximately 1 hour 45 minutes away from Cambridge by taxi and just over 2 hours by train. There is a train station in the airport with direct trains and also underground trains to Central London. The journey takes approx 30 minutes by train to Paddington Station and 1 hour by underground to London King’s Cross or London Liverpool Street stations. There are regular trains to Cambridge from these stations, with a journey time of approx. 45 minutes. Coaches can be taken from outside the main arrivals hall at each terminal.
London Gatwick
Approximately 2 hours 15 minutes away from Cambridge by taxi or train. There are train stations in both North & South terminals with direct train links to Central London. The journey to London takes approx 1 hour. There are regular trains from London Kings Cross and London Liverpool Street stations to Cambridge. The train journey to Cambridge takes approx 55 minutes. Coaches can be taken from outside the main arrivals hall at each terminal.
London Luton
This airport is approximately 1 hour 15 minutes away from Cambridge by taxi. Coaches leave from outside the main arrivals hall.
There are no direct links by train.
Travelling by private taxi transfer

Travelling by bus between London's airports and Cambridge
National Express is a bus company that operates a regular service between all the major London airports and Cambridge city centre. For timetable information, please visit www.nationalexpress.com and follow the instructions provided on the homepage.
When you arrive in Cambridge (on Parkside) take a taxi to your accommodation. The cost of the taxi should be between £5 and £10.
