ABC Groups are small, maximum 10 students, to ensure maximum progress

 

Courses are available ALL YEAR. You may study for as many weeks as you wish.

 

GENERAL  ENGLISH

GENERAL  BUSINESS ENGLISH 

ACADEMIC ENGLISH

 

We will assess your level before you start your course,  discuss your programme with you and advise on the best options for you.

 

HOURS:

Full-time:   15 x 60 minutes per week (mornings)

English Extra: 25 x 60 minutes per week (morning + afternoon)

 

If you can’t study every day, you may  be interested in these options:

09.30 – 12.30 (3 hours)

2 mornings    £48 per week

3 mornings   £70 per week

GENERAL ENGLISH

 

Practice and development in speaking, listening, reading and writing for everyday life and work. You will receive a Certificate at the end of your course and we can provide a detailed report on your studies if required. If you wish you may prepare for the internationally-recognised University of Cambridge ESOL exams: KET, PET, FCE, CAE AND CPE.

 

GENERAL BUSINESS ENGLISH

 

For anyone intending to use English at work. A practical course covering general business tasks and situations – correspondence, telephoning, meetings, negotiations, report-writing – available at all levels from Intermediate.

ACADEMIC ENGLISH

 

Studying and developing the skills you need for University. Suitable for first or higher degree students. You will work on reading  academic texts, writing on academic topics and practising the speaking and listening skills you will need to attend lectures and seminars.

We provide preparation for the IELTS and TOEFL examinations for University entrance in the UK and US, and are happy to advise students thinking of entering higher education.

NOTE: depending on the level your University expects, you may be asked to take General English lessons in addition to Academic English
